Friendship and Fellowship. 

On Sundays during winter, fall and spring,  the Sunday School meets to learn about the Bible and Jesus through fun activities like observing and releasing butterflies (shown above) and fellowship. Our Sunday School Youth Choir also  sings for Sunday Service on special occasions. 

Every year at Christmas time, our Sunday School presents a Living Nativity and a Christmas Program. The children learn about the true meaning of Christmas by presenting a living nativity on the front lawn of the church and by also present a Christmas program in the church itself with a lock in sleep over beforehand. 

Every summer, the youth of the church help run the Youth Pizza, Pop and Raffle basket booth at Independence Home Days. The money raised helps with our Sunday School education throughout the year and our mission outreach. It also is a great way to connect with the communty. We also march in the Independence Home Days parade. 

The Sunday School collects pocket change each year as an ongoing outreach. This year the donation was given to Tunnels to Towers. The Sunday School also upkeeps the Little Library in front of the church. In the past, we have made Jarod Boxes for Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospitals and volunteered at Twice Blessed Community Store just to name a few.
